I have decided to enter my Tardis quilt that I custom make in my etsy shop. This is my second entry.

Fabric: Kona solids, Riley Blake (I do not know the name of the exact fabric for the stars)
Size: Twin
Quilting: Machine, stitch in the ditch and QAYG.
Quilted by: Me :)
Pattern: Something I spent hours on and pages of graph paper to perfect. (My pattern from my head)

I have decided to enter my baby quilt that I had hand quilted for my brother and sister-in-law's baby-to-be. This is my first entry.

Fabric: Front - Jungle Babies, Back - ? (I just grabbed fabric from Joann's and did not look at who it was by).
Size: 48 x 48
Quilting: hand quilted around the inside and outsides of the circles on the front fabric.

Pattern: "Cheater quilting" (no piecing required)

May progress :)



A Lovely Year of Finishes
 
1. Maid of Honor Dress I was commissioned to do by a client. This is Kristy, she was referred to my by a friend of a friend. The bride changed her mind and wanted a different color. So I will be making another dress. I will also be making the next one a little more fitted.

May Goal Setting



A Lovely Year of Finishes
 
1. Maid of Honor Dress I was commissioned to do by a client (it is sooo cute! Just wait till you see it :) )

2. Mario QAL: Question mark block

3. Doctor Who QAL block of the month.

4. Doctor Who Embroidery QAL block of the month (Yes there are TWO!!).

5. Embroidered Pascha basket cover (this has to be done by May 4th, I am about 1.3 done).

6. Stash Bee block for the month.

7. BAS Partner Block.

8. RSC Color project for May (this month it is blue, like dark blue)

9. Finish burp cloths from last month.

10. At least 1 Ruffled diaper cover.

11. Jane Austin Period Dress FINISH

12. The flower girl dress for the same wedding as #1

13. Stitch up the May Woodland sampler square

Now for the yarn stuff:

1. Finish Rainbow bobble tote (1/2 done already, finally got yellow yarn).

2. Penny's (my Goddaughter) afghan (about 1/2 done making the squares).

3. Finish the blue scarf thingy (and figure out what it really is).

4. Finish the baby hat I am working on.

April Goals Made!



A Lovely Year of Finishes
 
So far I have completed: The ones with Photos.
 
1. The Cloud Mario QAL block (I am so behind in the QAL, if finished already and I am just finishing block 4/20).

This was the first one I made but it was too small so I decided to keep it for myself and make her another block.

This is what I ended up doing with the above block. I made it into a mug rug and tied it instead of machine quilting it :) I really like how it turned out.

 Here is the 2nd attempt at making my partner a block. I have not decided on if I want to sew the halves together in a "X" or an "O".... A little help?

I am waiting of yellow yarn. I ran out :(
 
I think that is enough on my plate with out biting off more than I can chew. LOL
 
Amendment! Here are some other projects I have added to the list!
 
This last week we had a workshop at church to learn how to decorate eggs. These are called Pisinka. Google them, there are some very beautiful eggs :) I did thins workshop last year and it as a blast. This year my hubby was interested in doing it too.
 
Clockwise: Green and light blue - the one I made this year, Light and dark blue - Hubby's attempt and he is pretty good at it!, black and blue with some purple - the one I made last year. there are better photos on my Facebook page.

Here is the mini quilt I finally finished for my partner. It took me so long to do it since my partner got switched out 3 times!

So far so Good I think. I failed to complete 2 of the things listed: The Rainbow tote, though I am sure I will finish it up in no time. And the 2 other burp cloths, which I have just been too lazy to get to, though they are very easy.

April Check In
